High School Exhibition 2021

Held by the University of Pretoria’s School of the Arts
The School of the Arts at the University of Pretoria presents the annual High School Exhibition 2021 to help encourage participation in the arts from early on and to promote our up and coming talents. Partnering with 26 schools nationwide this year, the exhibition includes 78 artworks in an online exhibition as well as on our Fine Arts Instagram page (@upfinearts).
Each school was allowed to submit 3 artworks which will be displayed online and thereafter move through to the final round where judges select the top three artworks overall. Prizes will be awarded to the top three learners as well as the top three learners’ respective schools. Prizes are proudly sponsored by ARTCentric and the School of the Arts.

Important dates:
• Online exhibition will be launched on 4 October 2021 and run until 30 November 2021
• Instagram launch will take place on 11 October 2021 and will run until 29 October 2021
• Winners will be announced with the Instagram launch on 11 October 2021
• First place receives a voucher to the value of R2000 for the school and the learner respectively
• Second place receives a voucher to the value of R1500 for the school and the learner respectively
• Third place receives a voucher to the value of R1000 for the school and the learner respectively
