Georgina Glass
Georgina Glass was born in 1996 in Nelspruit, South Africa. She matriculated in 2015 from Curro Nelspruit and is currently enrolled in her final year of BA Fine Art at the University of Pretoria (UP), and is a recipient of the JA Euvrard bursary for 2018. Glass also studied English literature to a final year level and completed a postgraduate short course in plain language and editing at UP. Through knitting, embroidery and sewing Glass attempts to put forward needlework as a social ritual that aids in the processing of changes and creates a liminal space for women to create community within the domestic sphere.
