Tree Hugger is a contraption which allows for socially safe and acceptable displays of public affections in the form of hugs. The receiver is to find a nearby tree or pole and hug it while the operator of this device places it around the person, pulling back to simulate a nice strong hug. 9 out of 10 people can't tell the difference.
