The Lord's Prayer

The Lords Prayer is video piece very close to my heart. 

Growing up in a strict Christian house, going to a Christian school, attending church every Sunday and praying before and after any event, meal or night sleep, I grew accustom to the The Lords Prayer as my main source of communication with God. 

The main concept behind the video is to create the feeling of being watched as the song is sung in the background. In the video, I documented myself getting ready for an unknown event, but  am also asking for protect against temptation and to fear no evil.

The glitched, retro CAM girl style video creates a lustful feeling with hues of red and black. The idea that the video is recorded on my phone makes it very profane and enhances the idea of a liminal medium.
