Pressure

From an early age, the pressure to conform to beauty standards and school hair rules placed pressure on me to straighten my hair constantly. These beauty standards exist in the lives of every woman; therefore this sculpture represents the birth of that pressure and the way we have nurtured it today leaving us controlled by the pressure to conform to beauty standards.
