Goal 3: Good health and well being

This project is inspired by my mom who is a nurse and to show appreciation for nurses over South-Africa for all their hard work. Nurses are not just healthcare workers they are also heroes, warriors, and political activists. People now especially during the difficult times of Covid-19, recognised nurses for their courage, bravery, commitment, resilience, advocacy, and persistence. The work of nurses has not necessarily changed; rather, it is society’s perception that has changed about nurses.

These heroes do not wear capes they wear PPE. Masks and face-shields are the new superhero uniforms. Therefore, with this art piece I am here to show the appreciation we have for all the hardworking nurses! We thank you!
