GEE VANDAG ONS DAAGLIKSE BROOD

This video serves as a metaphor between disforming bread and the Afrikaner culture.  The artists starts by praying for the bread in front of her, thankful. But an opposition of words arise due to the patriarchal structure, the bread in purest and of most useful is compacted, mended and broken to ensure the forceful and knowledgeable hand the patriarchal system has over the artist. 

The artists explains that the crumming up of the bread is how the Patriarchal system breaks down the next generations children with intentions to form them but in truthfullness they disform and crumbles them to pieces.
