Environment #1

Environment #1 which is part of the Biosphere series represents ecologies that are created and destroyed in natural cycles, but human intervention has created an accelerated pace. Species that do not adapt become obsolete, extinct (O 2012). 

Environment #1 "addresses both the marine environment and the fusion of plastic waste by creating miniature ecologies from cultural garbage. Among the coral and crinoids (made of tinsel from gift wrap) and cranes with wings made of folding fans, one finds faceless, impish figures fucking and consuming" (O 2012).
