Ten Commandments is a piece consisting of ten different embroidered pieces of cloth. Each piece of cloth represents a commandment. The commandments are embroidered onto the white cloth in white thread. The shear whiteness of these commandments represents their holiness and the manner in which they should be respected. However, not all of the commandments remain clean. The commandments that I have broken are filthy. They have been used to aid in completing my everyday tasks, whether it be washing/ colouring my hair, washing the dishes, mopping the floor, bathing or even drinking coffee. The commandments that are kept clean and pure are those which I have yet to break. The commandments are displayed in the order in which they were broken.
