The BA Fine Arts Division of the School of the Arts at the University of Pretoria presents the annual High School Exhibition 2022 in partnership with high schools from all over South Africa. The exhibition was conceived as a way to help introduce young high school artists to the growing trend of showcasing their art on digital platforms but more importantly, it is a way to promote the next generation of upcoming talents.
Each school was allowed to submit 3 artworks which will be displayed online and thereafter move through to the final round where judges select the top three artworks overall. Prizes will be awarded to the top three learners as well as the top three learners’ respective schools. Prizes are proudly sponsored by ARTCentric and the BA Fine Arts Division of the School of the Arts. A few selected artworks will also be featured on the UP Fine Arts Instagram page for a period of a year (@upfinearts).
• Winners will be announced during the Information Day on 27 August 2022 at 12:30.
Prizes:
• First place receives a voucher to the value of R2000 for the school and the learner respectively
• Second place receives a voucher to the value of R1500 for the school and the learner respectively
• Third place receives a voucher to the value of R1000 for the school and the learner respectively
